Overview¶

Optsicom Optimization Suite is a set of tools for researching in optimization problems. The suite comprises tools, servers and applications:

• Optsicom Framework: developed in the Java language, this framework is a library for the development of exact and approximate algorithms. Additionally, this framework provides support for configuring and running experiments.
• Optsicom Experiment Analyzer: application that performs different kinds of analysis over the rough data obtained with optsicom experimentation framework.
• Optsicom Remote Experiment System: this systems allows researchers to execute experiments remotely.
• Optsicom Eclipse Plugin: this plugin turns Eclipse into an IDE for researchers in optimization, providing support for the development of heuristic and exact algorithms and providing aid at configuring and running experiments. It also helps in managing remote experiments.
• Optsicom Interactive Application: a desktop application aimed at experiment execution and the analysis of the results obtained.
• Optsicom Content Managment System (CMS): server containing information about problems where Optsicom Optimization Suite has been used. It is a centralized repository for instances for differente problems, source control systems for code development, a web interface to presents results, among other features.
